Microneedling & Dermaplaning
Microneedling (Also known as Collagen Induction Therapry)
Microneedling; a cosmetic procedure, also known as collagen induction therapy, or skin needling, is a minimally invasive treatment to rejuvenate the skin.
Microneedling triggers the body to produce new collagen and elastin, giving you an overall more radiant and youthful appearance.
Treatment is carried out using a Microneedling pen, with fine needles to create tiny micro channels in the top layers of the skin, which allow specialised serums to enter deeper layers of skin.
Microneedling is used to treat and improve skin conditions such as acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, pore size, pigmentation and stretch-marks.
A course of 4-8 treatments, together with the use of after-care serums is recommended for optimal results.
Dermaplaning is a safe and effective treatment for all skin types, promoting smoother skin, removing vellus hair that traps dirt and oils, and enables deeper product penetration.
Dermaplaning is a manual exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently and elegantly "shave" the skin's surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin.
With each dermaplaning treatment, approximately two to three weeks of dead skin cells are being removed.
Dermaplaning is recommended every three to four weeks however, a treatment plan will be determined for your requirements to give you the ultimate results for younger, smoother looking skin.
